Handcrafted Cinema
The workshop explores how cinema can be made with limited resources, employing a handcrafted and creative approach. Using simple, accessible materials, participants will explore the stories around them and develop visual narratives. They will experiment with filming and editing techniques to create authentic, personal films. Throughout the workshop, we will cover the key stages of audiovisual production – from the initial concept to the final product – with a focus on crafting visual stories that connect with everyday life, memory, and place. We’ll explore basic techniques in filming, sound recording, and editing, encouraging the creative use of homemade equipment and affordable software.
