The workshop introduces participants to the expansive world of art direction, covering everything from initial research to the aesthetic and conceptual decisions involved in bringing an audiovisual project to life. To support the discussion, the instructor will present case studies drawn from their own works.

Ana Paula Cardoso has served as the art director for several acclaimed feature films, including “Enterre seus Mortos” by Marco Dutra (RT Features/Globoplay), “Barba Ensopada de Sangue” by Aly Muritiba (RT Features/Globoplay), and “Praia Formosa” by Julia de Simone (Winner of Best Art Direction at the 2024 Olhar de Cinema IFF), among others.
