Synopsis
Diagnoses of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder are on the rise each day. Between the need for medication and the search for self-understanding lies an entire world waiting to be uncovered. This Portuguese animated film crafts a childlike allegory to explore the inner lives of children diagnosed with ADHD. (K.M.)

Joana Nogueira, Patrícia Rodrigues
Joana Nogueira is a ceramicist, animation filmmaker, and artistic director. She holds a degree in Fine Arts, a Master’s in Illustration and Animation, and a postgraduate degree in Local and Collaborative Development. Patrícia Rodrigues is driven by a desire to bring her imagination to life and is particularly drawn to the tactile possibilities of stop-motion animation. Together, they co-directed the short film “Pronto, Era Assim” (2015).
