Synopsis
We could summarize the plot as: “Henry Spencer goes to dinner with his now ex-girlfriend and discovers she was pregnant before their breakup. Now he must marry her and care for the baby.” But that doesn’t even begin to capture the screams, the bizarre appearance of the child, or the surreal nightmare that permeates the film’s black-and-white visuals. David Lynch passed away this year, leaving behind an indelible legacy as one of the most influential creators in contemporary art worldwide. In tribute to the legendary filmmaker, Olhar de Cinema presents his debut feature. (G.B.)
This film will be screened alongside My name is Oona.
