Synopsis
It’s summertime, and Maria Inês begins to explore her first romantic feelings while strolling through the neighborhood with her friends. The film revels in the joy of storytelling itself, turning cinema into a playful adventure that Maria and her friends navigate through dance routines, viral songs, and the making of colorful beadwork. Tota Alves, 34, has been writing for film and television since 2018. She has directed two miniseries for RTP (the Portuguese public broadcaster) and premiered her first film, "Conseguimos Fazer um Filme", at IndieLisboa, where it won the Audience Award for Best Short Film.
