Synopsis

In Haiti, Marianne and Pétion wait for a phone call from their son, who has immigrated to the U.S. The waiting creates room for hope, as they imagine a life far removed from their daily reality. But as they wait, reality takes shape in the small gestures that that reflect the love of those who can only rely on themselves. (K.M.)
