Synopsis
After a bizarre boat trip, Augustina arrives on a strange island in the Azores, where everyone seems to be playing (or perhaps are?) a Shakespearean character. Augustina, who came to the island to take part in a production of The Tempest, soon finds herself drawn into a real-life adaptation of the playwright’s work. Building on a still-young yet already acclaimed career, Lois Patiño offers a vibrant reimagining of Shakespeare, brought to life through dazzling visuals and vivid landscapes. (G.B.)
